In what country and region do you live?

Go to the websit of the nearest airport and type in "How much does a PPL course cost?" Uusally it's about US $5000. More or less.

It cost me $4,000 to get my PPL

so be prepared to spend a little money.. then it cost about $100 an hour for renting a plane.. depending on the plane..

In the US, a PP certificate will run you approx $6-7000 inclusive of instruction (40 hrs min/60 more usual), ground school course (On DVD to study at home or an in-person course), written exam, flight physical, and check ride.
