i know they are actually APBT and its a loop hole as to why they are staffys, but he is pedigree and on his certificate he is a staffy. the option for these dogs is never on the scroll down, only have bull terriers and he isn't that. Just don't want to be paying for it and then if anything ever happened find out it is invalid because it doesn't match whats on his certificate? any ideas?

  1. Your situation are typical for a lot of people,so,be patient and calm down, check the resource i found useful.http://insurance.free-onlinetip.info/ins...

  2. From your vet.

  3. Millie, I wish I had a a irish bull terrier.

  4. Consult Kennel Club

  5. Try the DogsTrust - they have their own scheme - £20 of the annual payment goes directly to them and you know that it is going to a good cause.

  6. Not sure what you mean by his certificate. If you mean Kennel Club Registration or Irsh KC, then he's registered as a SBT and you have to put that down as the breed. If he isn't registered (and there is no such breed as an Irish Blue) can't you just put him as a crossbreed?

Every dog has a pedigree, that's just a list of his ancestors so even the most mixed up mutt in the world has a pedigree.

  7. I have just looked it up, and it is the same as an ordinary Staffordshire Bull Terrier so you insure him as a 'Staffy', it's not a loophole, APBT's are slightly different if from a similar gene pool.

  8. Try pet plan although this is quite expensive.  A lot of supermarkets do it and you can phone up to speak to a real person. Marks and Spencer also do pet insurance
