Im getting a mortgage with Halifax and the quote they have given me is £100 a month! For all this. I have been on the comparison sites and managed to get it down to £35, but it is split up with 3 different insurers. How much should this all cost for 2 young people who dont smoke and are healthy. As i thought £35 was a bit too cheap.

  1. All of UK insurance policies you can visit -

  2. My suggestion is trying to get as much as information as you could before making any decision, here is a good resourece.http://insurance.free-onlinetip.info/ins...

  3. It is difficult to say the exact figures without knowing the amount of life cover, if it is going to be joint or separate and the amount of critical illness cover to be included.Try using a broker and then you will find out which one is the cheapest. Not every insurance company comes up of comparison sites as they do not want to deal with customers direct at the selling stage.

  4. You should be able to get cheaper cover than the halifax but I guarantee that you not getting the same cover with the £35 pm quotation. I'm an IFA and I would generally do life cover, critical illness cover, accident sickness & unemployment cover, content & building insurance with different providers. I would probably use Norwich Union for the Death & Crit cover, Assurant Solutions for the ASU and perhaps direct line for the buildings & Contents cover. There you go free advice! Or you could drop me an e mail and I'll sort it.
