  1. I know in most of the caribbean they braid tourists hair on the beach or streets, but in PR they do not. Sorry.  It has never been a big thing here. I mean lots of local kids get it done (mostly cornrows) but not tourists. But I know a few people used to do it a while ago but they passed a health regulation I think.  If you want you can go to any hair salon & they will do it. Also many hotels have beauty salons.
