  1. Here's a great web site.  Click on your state, then choose the county you live in.  Most counties will have information available on their web site.  If you want assessment information go to the assessors office.  If you want tax amounts go to the tax collectors web site.  

    You will have to have basic information like your parcel number or address.  Each site has a slightly different way of searching, but most are pretty easy.

Most property assessments do not split the rental part vs your personal residence part.  If this is the case, all you can do (according to IRS code) is to measure the square footage of each unit, and prorate the rental value based upon the percentage of total square footage it uses in the entire structure.

    Your property tax assessment should be readily available at your local treasurer office or similar.
