  1. You can still get them at the optometrist's office even without a prescription. This is your best bet because all contacts need to be measured to properly fit your eyes.

  2. You can't always go into a doctors office and get colour contacts without a prescription. You have to check state laws. In my state you have to have a prescription to buy contacts. There are websites online where you can get colour contacts without a prescription. It actually ends up being more expensive that way a could be a little dangerous.

Contacts aren't a one size fits all type of thing. Contacts like the ones you can buy online just come in an 'average size'. If you eyes are flatter or steeper than 'average' the contact won't sit properly and will be very uncomfortable.

Trust me, it is cheaper to go to a doctor and get a prescription for contacts. You also have the assurance of knowing that the contact will fit you and you can try the colours before you buy. You will also have someone there to show you how to put in and take out your lenses (trust me it isn't as easy as it looks the first few times). Online you get like a pair of color contacts for $35. Those will only last you a month and then you have to throw them away. If you buy a box on an office you can get three pairs for the same price (a 3 month supply). So it is cheaper and safer to get them at your doctors office.

Sorry if I rambled on, but people don't realize what potential danger contacts pose. Its my job, what can I say?

  3. you can order them online, or go to your local eye doctor, or glasses store, and ask them if they have them.

    check out this website.

  4. Even if you have perfect vision, you still have to get a prescription for them in most countries. Which means a visit to an eye doctor.

  5. You can try www.colorvuelens.com.

I get most of my color lenses there.

  6. order them online, go to a glasses store, or go to your optometrists office.
