  1. There's a few hundred different species of "water turtle", but you're probably referring to a red eared slider. They don't stay small, and they'll eat your fish. Expect to spend about $200 on a proper setup despite the fact that the turtle itself probably won't cost more than $15. Do a good deal of research on what all you need to keep it healthy (UVB light, filter, proper diet, etc.) and remember, they'll live quite a long time and get to be about the size of a dinner plate if you take care of them properly.

Try looking at flea markets or other pet stores, they're around.

  2. really?? you can find those at my walmart for like 5 dollars each. Petsmart?

  3. I have 4 water turtles and I got them in a common pet store

they are very cheap and easy to take care.

Go to the veterinarian maybe there you will find it.

    good luck!

  4. I remember Petco having a lot of red-eared (or whatever those are called) water turtles in an aquarium for pretty cheap.

  5. PetCo they have the turtles that live in water and land they are a little bigger than a computer mouse!

  6. Look for reptile shows in your area. They always have tons of different animals, and will more than likely have what you're looking for. Where do you live? I bet I can find one close to you.
