Where can i get refund for recyclables?

i have a bunch of can and i was wondering where can i get the 5 cent refund for them

You don't say where you are, but in California the places that sell  them to you (e.g. grocery stores) usually list the nearest recycling location on the front door.  I suspect that might be a law here, it seems only fair that if they take a deposit they should tell you how to get it refunded.
