At the moment i use candle wax to wax my board. I know ur not supposed too, but i didnt know that until last week. I found a formula for surf wax but I want to try real surf wax but they're aren't any surf shops or anything where i live. just a Joe's, sportsman's wearhouse, and a big 5 (where i got my skimboard). Also what type of wax should i put on the bottom?

  1. I would look up s*x WAX on the internet and order some from them. If you explain to them your situation they will probably send you at least a free sample minus shipping costs. They are typically a dollar a bar at surf shops. There's also STICKY BUMPS which is another good one. s*x WAX is made in Santa Barbara/Carpinteria California. I beleive Sticky Bumps is Australian. You don't put wax on the bottom of a skimboard and you wan't to keep it as clean as possible. If anything put RAINX on the bottom. This is the stuff you usually put on your cars windsheild to repel water. You might want to look for a traction pad for your board (these are 40.00 on average)
