Where can i get the mic jack for Yamaha AV receiver 6.1 channel?

i have yamaha 6.1 cannel AV receiver and connected with LG dvd recorder.Now i want to connect a microphone for Karaoke i don't have any port in both device .pl. suggest me a suitable jack system.

Microphones generally have quite low output (check specs on your mike), so you probably need a microphone preamplifier. See the link for one such preamp ... but you can probably find one locally.

You would connect the mike to the preamp input and the preamp output to the aux input on the 6.1 receiver.
