I shop at Walmart superstore during the winter and during the summer at a Farmer's market.  There are more organic choices in teh summer than in the winter.  Course, in teh winter you can get pomegranites.

Raise your own veggies that way you know what you are paying for.

Look around for veggie stalls or markets....they are usually fresh. Albertson and Vons (groceries) usually have fresh veggies.

depending on where u live maybe you should consider going home grown

i dont know where you live but down south you can go to a "farmers market" they usually have the freshest vegetables for the best prices
