Depending on the type of phone you have you can create your on ring-tones and load them to your phone with a usb cable. I have a motorazr from a previous provider and I used the software my service provider gave to me and created ring-tones from songs I had on my pc. Completely free and by doing that you can choose the part of the song or sound you want as your tone.

Unfortunately some phones don't allow you to use your own music as ring-tones.
