Chicken throats or legs left out in the open for a day. The stinkier it is, the more crabs you'll get. Tie the chicken to a piece of string and let it touch the bottom of the pond or lake or whatever. Lakes are way easier than beaches unless the tide is low and the ocean is calm. Have a net with you also. Happy crabbing! You should try Freeport, Texas one day, it's about 15 minutes away from Galveston and it has GREAT blue and rock crab.
