  1. Ive gone all over the place but for me Western Port Bay, just off French Island is a winner.

  2. inverloch or phillipland at san remo under the brigde you can get samon and other types

  3. Portsea Pier off the Mornington Peninsula Is great and It Is walking length from Portsea Pub so after you catch something (Or Try). You can get a good drink after It.

  4. Lots of spots around Melbourne - good fishing at many of the piers along the bay near the city eg. St Kilda, Brighton, Sandringham, Port Melbourne.  Or a bit further out good surf fishing in Rye, Sorrento.  Check out this website for more info http://www.fishvictoria.com/pyoursay/rep...

    Tight lines!

  5. My hubby to be, who is a mad keen fisherman always goes fishing in Port Phillip Bay (he launches his boat either from Werribee, Altona, Queenscliff or Black Rock).

He also goes down to Geelong and Westernport if he wants to catch something different.

For surf fishing, he is always telling me that the best place he goes to is Torquay. He has also told me that 90 mile Beach, Apollo Bay, Lorne, and Fairhaven are also good spots for surf fishing
