  1. You have plenty of choice.  You did not specify cuisine or price but here are some ideas. Dim sum is a nice idea for lunch, served in Chinatown.  Best is Yauatcha in Broadwick Street, Soho.  Luckily for lunch even top restaurants usually do cheaper menus to attract people in, so you could consider trying somewhere smart and taking advantage of this.  In Mayfair Gavroche (2 Michelin stars) does a surprisingly cheap set lunch for £48 including wine (in the evening you can easily spend three times this) while Gordon Ramsay at Claridges does a set lunch for £30.  Alternatively you could go for top class Indian food at Mint Leaf with a £15 two course set lunch.  For other ideas see my web site www.andyhayler.com

  2. there is a brilliant dim sum restaurant on great marlborough street (nearest station is oxford circus).  loads of celebs go there but it is so cheap for london.  fod is amazing and the just being there is a nice experience.  everyone i know who has been there has loved it!

  3. there is a lot of good places to have lunch in london..

but my favourite at the moment is a newly opened cafe in high street kensington called Caffe Concerto...

i recommend u go there and try there food and cakes..

  4. Cafe fish is loveeeely.  One of the best seafood places I have been too.  http://www.cafefish.5pm.co.uk/

Or New world in China town has the best dim sum ever, it's great and you get a good selection.

  5. If you like good cheap Chinese food, you cannot beat Wong Kei in Wardour street.

You sit at large round tables with other people and eat large portions of cheap  tasty food.  Always busy but incredibly quick service.

At the other end of the budget i've always had a yen to try The Ivy

  6. The Admiralty at Somerset House

  7. Definitely Mac Donalds  -My Favourite

  8. i definately recconmend ''garfunkles' they are excellent! venues are practically round every corner.

  9. COME OUT  of your front door, turn right straight ahead there must be loads

  10. Mr Jerk (at the back of Oxford Street).
