Where can i go for new years eve?

I live in Birmingham and as Eddies nightclub has burned down i don't know what to do for new years eve. Suggestions for 'alternative' places plz

Birmingham is c**p on New Years eve, It used to be fantastic, have managed to be away for the past 4 years and will be away again this year.  Personally if i was here i think as already sugessted i would go to Apres its about the best place!

There is a bar called Apres which costs £40 for the ticket and then all your drinks are free - i think this is a bargain! Good music etc as well, i went there last year and had a great time!!

try somwhere outside of brmingham like manchester or liverpool a change is good!

If your up for it.........Edinburgh !! and in particular Princes Street. Its really long and stuffed full of bars and restaurants...The Scoitish know how to party !!

(I think going out for New Year's can be a bit of a rip-off though - have a party at home instead!)
