Where can i go this summer on my hols ?

i have three weeks off in the summer and want to go away somewhere with a beach but also some sightseeing, dont really want a package deal any suggestions? i can afford about £2000 willing to go anywhere

Come to the US and visit the beaches on the Eastern Coast...you can chose any from Massachusetts to Florida.  Anyway, the pound buys more in the US today!!!  You may never find another time when it will be this cheap!

In the summer Nova Scotia is one of the more beautiful spots on the planet.  It has many different faces such as night life in Halifax or some very seculded bike trails to protected mountains and wetlands.  Lots of beaches and many cottages that are very secluded but not isolated.

We investigated it as one option for our honeymoon a few years ago and even though we choose something  a little closer to home, we want to go there soon.
