Where can i go/what can i do this summer?

Im from the UK and i want to make this summer really good. What sorts of activities and places can me and my friends go to? (preferably places in the north west please or not to far away e.g alton towers)

me and my friends have already decided on bbq's etc maybe go to a waterpark but any good ideas would be great :):)

Go To Blackpool Thats What Me And My Mates Are Doing. You Can Just Go For The Day Or Go For Longer And No Matter What You'll Have A Good Time Because There's Always Things To Do Especially For A Group Of Friends Who Just Wanna Have A Good Time.

me and some friends camped out in sherwood forest campsite once. we had BBQs and relaxed for about a week. if you have your own tents and all chip in to pay for the pitching fees then it can be quite cheap
