I take mine at Front at Sebel Pier One.  On the pier looking out over the harbour.  Cocktails over the glass floor, looking down into the water, and quality food at decent prices.  If all goes to plan, a room is normally available for $200

Est at the Establishment hotel.  Choose the tasting menu with a wine for each course; not cheap, but wow!

Sydney Point Tower is pretty awesome. Theres 2 restaurants, the buffet is a little cheaper (about $50 each I think) but is very good & the view is unreal! Ring & book & ask for a table at the window. The restaurant revolves so u get a 360 degree view of Sydney.

Edit:- Forgot to mention. Do you want some of that now outdated nouveau cuisine that was so fashionable back in the 1980's and early 1990's. You know what I mean, hardly any food all piled up as high as possible in the middle of the plate. The type of food and presentation that went out of fashion in the rest of the world 10 to 15 years ago and is still just about the only thing you can find in Sydney, because in Australia they think it's still the height of cool fashion.

Well if you don't want that then you are going to struggle to find somewhere to eat. But best of luck.

Oh god, depends how you want to travel.  But my fav is Jonah's at Palm beach and it is worth staying the night!!! Or Cafe Sydney which has harbour views.
