  1.      It's great to hear that you are taking an interest in saving wildlife!  The advice that I can offer really only applies if you want to rescue animals that have been abused, neglected, or displaced.

If you really want to pursue this, then volunteering is a great place to start.  Most zoos, animal shelters, and wildlife sanctuaries/refuges have volunteer programs that will give you a good insight into the world of animal rescue, and it helps to build your resume.

When you go to college, majoring in zoology, biology, or other applicable program will put you on the right track.  A college counselor will be able to help you decide which major is best, and what classes will be most beneficial.

Lastly, internships are vital.  Unlike volunteering, internships will give you more of a hands on experience with the work that these people do. (You just may not be hands on with the animals.)

Just remember, a lot of circuses treat their animals quite well.  I know a 6 year old tiger who was in a circus.  The treated her wonderfully, but had to retire her after her first show because she was afraid of the crowd and wouldn't perform.  She was retired when she was 2, but that circus still sends money to cover a large portion of the costs to keep her housed, fed, and happy.
