Where can i keep my frog in the winter?

i found a small bullfrog and i keep it in a cage in my garage and i feed it waxworms every day and its doing good but my dad said i have to let it go in the winter but i want to keep is so what do i do. i dont know where to put it please help!

  1. It will hibernate, but it's risky. Make sure there's about 12 inches of dirt to let it hibernate. I would just recommend bringing it in for the winter. Get a heat pad to put on the bottom and keep it away from drafts and it will be fine.


  2. beside the fridge is good enough or under your bed. keep JT's advise as well cause his advise is beneficial.

  3. if i were you i would bring it inside.  Put it somewhere where your dad will accept like in your bedroom, or somewhere thats acceptable.  But definitely bring it in!

  4. put it in your house, or buy a heater in your garage. Or sell it to a shop. Pets hates garage. No love, warmth. Its not a home. :[
