Where can i live with shaolin monks?

i belive tht in order the learn the martial art i need to learn it from the source =] but i cant find anyone, anywhere so i need help do u kno anyone there or where i can go to live a simple life as they did back in the old days to learn this art and how they live?

China I guess, there is a book called American Shaolin that came out recently, you might want to pick it up.  Its about this American guy who left college to go train w/ the monks for a year or so.

You can find a place to live a simple life, but you can't live with the monks.

You can take summer training camps with some sholin monks, but it will cost you a pretty penny just the admission cost. And you really don't get much out of it as they give you to a retarded teacher who is told not to show you anything effectively.

Check out the gyms in your area, and pick the gym that intimidates you the most, that's where your going to get the best training for your money.

The monk looks like a busy man though, so you may have a hard time contacting him, although, he is the best person to answer your questions.
