Where can i look for a NICE car as low as 4,000 $ ?

ok i live in Houston Tx and im 18 i need a nice car for cheap to go back and forth to school.It also must be safe cause i have A 1 yr old little boy.does anyone know where i can look. i been looking on Craigslist.com but most of the cars i fnd for 4,000 are really nice but most of them are scammers so someone please help me <33

You can look in craigslist but you should take note of these:

Mileage (should not be over 120K)

Engine or transmission problem (as they are costly to repair)

Clean title

Just make sure you get someone who knows enough about cars to help you out so you won;t get scammed.

Another site you can try is a relatively new site called AllTheRides.Com. It has a combo of many things like car listings, car dealerships and a forum. Might just want to take a look there to see if you can find anything.

Stop looking for super nice cars for $4000 then.

That&#039;s the problem right there.

Go find yourself a late 90s Buick (the best quality GM car so I hear...) or a Ford Crown Vic or Mercury Grand Marquis...

I&#039;m in Houston area and I look through the same Craigslist ads you do and find some decent deals that I could go for when I need to get that beater when I don&#039;t feel like driving the F150.

I don&#039;t get the scammer ads, either!

try ebay. they have a list of cars in so many price ranges.

Look at Autotrader.com Craigslist would also be your best bet. But you gotta look for the scammers.
