  1. I don't know about real skeletons.  You can check with a college or university and see who their supplier is.

I recently saw The Bodies exhibition.  In the museum gift shop they were selling life size skeletons.  They were plastic but looked good.

  2. In the US, it is illegal for an individual to own or possess the remains of a human being other than ashes. It's a public safety thing. Colleges and such can display real human skeletons, but solely for research purposes.  The majority of the ones seen in biology depts. are not real (just like the majority of large dinosaur displays in museums).  However, there is a black market for mummies and human skeletons and not too long ago Harrods, the London Dept. Store offered an authentic mummy in it's catalogue.

There is, of course, one way to get one for free, but I don't recommend it, as it is illegal and highly disrespectful to the family of the deceased.  Anyway, who wants to spend time in a spooky cemetery digging for hours?

  3. steal one from a cemetery.

  4. You can always look on line for them or go to a skeleton museum and ask the curator.

  5. I'm not aware of anywhere which sells real skeletons - although it's possible you might find an antique one.  There used to be a trade in skeletons from India and other parts of the Third World but that has now declined.

You're probably better off with a plastic one anyway - Who really wants a real skeleton in their bedroom?  Wouldn't you worry that the ghost of the person it used to be will come and see you?

  6. how much are you wanting to pay?

  7. oooooooohhhhhhhhh! i know! just  go to a cemertery, and dig up a grave, and put 10.00 on the coffin!
