this probably won't be much help, but when I was looking into it a while ago a party hire company in Noosa, qld was very helpful with information about them.  I'm sorry but I can't remember the name of the company - there's not that many though. You could try doing a ring around of hire companies -  or just ring them and ask what brand their machines are and go from there.  You also never know what you'll find on ebay!
