I live around the Twin Cities, MN. I have a lot of old batteries and don't feel right throwing them away where they will end up in landfills and hurt the environment even more. Anybody know where I can recycle them or how to find a place on-line?

The RadioShacks in our area accept both regular and rechargable batteries for recycling.

  2. I do know that Home depot and other large superstores have bins for rechargeable batteries.  Call some of the major stores in your area to see if they do reg batteries too.

  3. PRECYCLE_that means think before you buy--Try buying alternatives such as rechargeable batteries!  Then you won't have to recycle so many!

  4. At Vatozone.
