Question:

Where can i rehearse my choir?

I have a group that needs a place where we can rehearse. We have a keyboard, but a piano is preferred, not top priority. What is top priority is a place that would allow us to rehearse peacefully. As we are a freelance group and not a non profit as of yet, money is of concern, and I can barely afford rent, so... A place that is free is the most ideal. Any ideas where we could rehearse?

  1. do any of your members live in a planned or gated comunity? many of those comunities have comunity rooms that can reserved for use.

local schools often open rooms to such groups in the comunity in exchange for a performance or two,..

  2. I would contact some of the local social clubs like the Rotary, Shriners, Optimist, or Red Hat Association  in your area or churches.  Many of them have halls that have down time that they could let you use free of charge or for a nominal fee.  As silly as it sounds try the local library and see if they have any rooms in their annex or archive that could be used or at your city hall.  Worst comes to worst, someone's basement in the choir would be work too.
