Where can i rent a hole saw and a drill in chicago?

i need to install a reverse osmosis water system for my apartment.

but i need to make a hole for the faucet and tap the water pipe for the tubings. where can i rent these tools in chicago? can i go to home depot or ace hardware or something?

for 25 dollars you can buy what you need at the hardware store.  It would cost almost that much to rent and a drill around is always handy

As an apartment renter you cant just go installing this kind of stuff that requires perm alterations to the property.

Not all Home Depots have a tool rental department but the ones that do will rent you a drill but you will have to purchase the hole saw bit.

Home Depot offers tool rental by the hour, and by the day.  I believe, it's a four hour rental, or 24 hour rental, with rates varying accordingly.  Feel free to call your local store for rates and availability.
