Where can i rent concrete footings ?

i am in need of either 3ft or 4ft footing to finish pouring the walls to my addition. but don't know where i can go rent some. the guys that were doing the addition is now busy and can't do the job and i am stuck waiting for them.. i want to do it myself... any idea's please help . we dug out a 400 sq foot addition ...

  1. Are you pouring a concrete slab floor and footing combination and need perimeter forms? Can you provide more detail?

  3. I think you may be a little confused.  Footings are the concrete that is poured and then your wall is set up on that. So do you need footing forms or wall forms??  Typically footing forms are just 2x8, 10, or 12's.  there is also a form a drain system that is plastic and it has the drain tile attached to it. These would stay in place.

    If you need wall forms, try a local supplier that deals with contractors.  They usually have wall forms for rent.  But just some advice for you, by the time you rent them and set and them and such, you'd be better off to hire a contractor. Even if it's a diff one than has already started the job.  Cost wise, renting forms is just plain expensive.
