I played goalie for two years in ice hockey and now i am selling all my equipment. It costs upwards of 2 grand (originally) but I am willing to sell it for less than 2. Just advertising the pads has not proven to be very efficient so I need to find a store (somewhere in Alberta) where I can bring in my pads and they would just give me money for it. Or something like that, prefferably not sites or certain people. Thanks. I really need to get rid of these but don't want to do it for too cheap! I don't want to do ebay because they will end up going for so cheap if being sold at all! they are in very good condition.

  1. play it again is the greatest there are tons of locations. i bought most of my goalie gear there and ended up saving a lot of money because I sold a lot of gear. At the start of hockey season is the best time to sell. goaliestore.com is great too. but you would have to make an ad and sell it to an actual person.

  2. play it again sports

    OR

CRAIGSLIST.ORG (then look for the Edmonton or Calgary site depending on which one is closest to you)

Oh and on Ebay - you CAN set up a "reserve bid" to protect you from those absurdly low bids.

You can also join us at www.goaliestore.com and put up an ad in the Classifieds.

Or if you don't want to worry about shipping: Why not put up an ad at local rinks?

If you sell online though, have pictures. That can generate much more interest than just a description of the items and your asking price
