He suffers from cystic fibrosis, all he wants for his birthday, is an action figure from one of his favorite comic books, it runs about 50 dollars on ebay, id love to buy it for him but as odd as it may sound to alot of people i honestly dont have 50 dollars to put torwards anything but the basic necessities right now. i want to set up some kind of donation fund or a fundraiser so that i could get this for him but i dont know how. any suggestions?

  1. I MUST TELL YOU THAT IT IS QUITE INSPIRATIONAL TO SEE THAT WITH WHAT YOUR SON IS GOING THROUGH THAT ALL HE WANTS IS A SIMPLE GIFT AS THAT.  YOU ARE COMMENDED FOR RAISING HIM SO WELL!!

    THOUGHTS ARE WITH YOU!!

THE MAKE-A-WISH IDEA IS SPENDID...I WOULD JUST SUGGEST THE CP FOUNDATION TOO {www.cysticfibrosis.com} THEY SHOULD HAVE FUNDS FOR THIS TYPE OF SITUATION.

  2. You could try and contact the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The only problem is that if the birthday is coming up soon, I'm not sure about how much help it will be.

My suggestion for you is to contact the church you attend or you live nearby to see if they are willing to help. Explain to them that this little boy that he only wants this one thing for his birthday and suffers from an illness. If this gift would mean the would to him, the church might be able to set up a donation container and spread the word to other church members.

I hope you are able to raise the money to buy him the gift!

    Good luck!

  3. Just get somebody else to buy it, or ask amongst your friends for contributions.  Or maybe you could sell something to raise the cash.  You don't even have to be imaginative as it is only £50.  You could even approach a store and see if they would like to help out.  Or do some odd jobs for people to raise cash. And if its your child then do without whatever is necessary to get it for him.

  4. make a wish foundation might be of some assistance for you, good luck

  5. Call the Wish Foundation.  They have the resources that you will need.
