Where can i start when i want to open my own gym?

I am 20 years of age and i want to open a gym of my owen,so where and how can i start?

One thing you need to be sure of.

if you got the money then your good.

You will need to rent a space in a building. Sign a business lease. Buy equipment, employ staff, take out Insurance, have it inspected by Health & Safety. Advertise.

You will need lots of money to set it up.

not going to happen.. im sorry, but i really think that is true.

there are sooooo many big chain gyms that offer way more then you ever can.

people who go to the gym generally want variety in the form of big multi-million $ facilitys.

try getting work at the cooperate offices of an already existent gym.

Only way u could do it, would be to open a gym that fills a non-existent nitch.  For example a rockclimbing gym in a place without any.

BUt where are you going to get the start up capital my friend?
