  1. i've stayed here several times...

it's a small hotel on a great street (there is a farmers market there during the day) and the location in the 7th arrindosment is walking distance from the eiffel tower, musee d'orsay, etc....and there's a metro station right at the end of the street.

  2. Find a hostel:

    www.hostelworld.com

  3. You could stay in a hostel for backpackers!

Is really cheap, but you have to watch out for your stuff!

    check it out!

  4. idk

  5. Well, one possibility is to stay for free at people's homes. You would only pay for your transportation, and you would probably contribute to the cost of meals, but that is very, very cheap.

    To do so check out

    www.couchsurfing.com

this website connects people all over the world who are traveling--basically you sign up to find hosts, and in return, if some traveler is stranded near you in the future you open your home to them.

    It's an amazing website.

    Good luck and happy travels!

Check the sites for budget hotels and hostels.  If you are staying with a few friends, you can get an entire dorm room in a hostel to yourselves and you alone will have a key to the room without having to share with others.

The Latin Quarter/St. Germain de Pres area has some cheaper hotels which have small rooms, but you're in Paris to sit in a hotel room anyway.  You can always try www.expedia.ca and search for hotels by price.

  7. Left Bank has many nice small hotels

  8. The rail station is the cheaper while the police station is cheapest.
