I have bought stevie wonder tickets as a surprise for my other half. Its not till october.I was thinking not to tell him till we got there. So i will need to know about parking places.I was also considering the idea of staying over so that we didn't have to drive back that night. But this depends on what accommodation is available and the cost.Any ideas?

  1. try: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&um=1...

  2. There are quite a lot of car parks in the local area, but to be honest, it's easier to use public transport. It's not too far from the train station or bus stop, and there will be plenty of people walking that way.

The only disadvantage is that the last train and bus is about 11.30pm, and so it might be a bit tight for time afterwards.

If I were you, I'd park somewhere either in the suburbs or in the city centre carparks- when I went to the NIA, the parking around the area was crazy- people were parked all over the place, completely blocking the pavements, and the traffic wardens were out in force.

    ticketmaster say this:

"There are four car parks that support the Arena, giving a total of more than 2,300 spaces. The car parks are multi-storey and divided into north and south. Entrances are from the following roads: North - King Edward`s Road. South upper - Sheepcote Street. South lower - St Vincent Street. Community Hall - Junction Sheepcote St/King Edward`s Rd. All car parks are Pay and Display. Charges apply 24 hours a day, seven days a week."

or look on the  NIA's website
