Where can i take my 1 year old daughter?

i am wanting to take my 1 year old daughter out for the day but i'm not sure where to go. i would like to take her somewhere near rotherham. as anyone got any suggestions or where have you taking your 1 year old for days out?

i don't know about rotherham but you could catch a bus to sheffield there is a direct but to town centre, as graves park have a festival which is on for tomorrow  sat 12-9pm and sunday 12-6pm im taking my little boy tomorrow ,theres animals including some new born lambs  and rides shows .noddy is there too

Look for children's museums...they are so much fun.They have places to dig.It is for all ages,maybe they have something like that near you.

Another thing my daughter enjoyed doing when she was that age was to go and feed the ducks...so if you know of a place with ducks,tthat'sanother thing you could take your little one to do.

If you are living here in UK, how about the beach?  Kids of all ages love going to the beach.

maybe a swimming baths that have family area, she may love the water and its good to get em' used to it when they're young.

Do you have any ball pits near you, they usually have a small area for children under 2 separate from the bigger children

The playground at the mall - lots of stuff for the tiny ones to play on there

Let her loose in the toystore - she has a ball pulling the dolls down, looking at everything

To the park - put her in the baby swings. Really wears them out

Swimming - after 15 minutes, mine is ready to nap for 2 hrs

To a friend's house - if you have a friend with kids, those are the best houses to visit. You don't want to bring her to a house that's full of breakables and not childproofed

Where not to take her

Movies - they can't sit still for long enough at this age
