  1. Hi Lyndsey.

Check in your local yellow pages and look under Camera Repair.    The only person that is qualified to work on a camera is a repair technician and you want him to  do a good job.    You might want to ask what the repair is going to cost you.... as all techs charge a labor fee ... and that is usually somewhere around $89.00 an hour.  You don't want to be surprised when you pick up your camera.

Hope all turns out well.  :))

  2. If the repair charges are more than one third of the price you originally paid for the camera, then you would do better to invest that money on a new camera, unless the camera is within it's warranty period, in which case you should be able to get it repaired under the warranty conditions for free (except for postage).

  3. Have you tried disputing your problem where you got your camera. If there is a problem with them, report them to eBay so there is a chance you can settle your dispute, and get a refund for it. Contact eBay for more information.

You can bring you camera to any camera store like Wolf or Ritz.

  4. Camera Repairs Direct

    East Lodge House

These are a mail to firm (all the camera shops send their repairs to them) and get a quote and then they post it back

I have had a digital SLR repaired by them 3 years ago and it still works so that's the only recommendation i can give..

Try phoning first to explain whats wrong and see what they say.
