Where can i take sign language classes for free?

i want to learn sign language . I wanted to know where can i take sign language classes for free. I really want to be an interpreter can you guys please help me and give me some resources. thanks

If you are UK based try some of the night school colleges.

I did mine a few years ago. I had to pay for the exam but not the course as I was on low pay.

Very ineresting too, could I advise you to learn the Alphabet before you go into the course, it is much easier to learn and besides which it isn't hard to do.

In the back of the phone book there are pages showing how to hand sign and the blind society will help you in anyway they can.

youtube!! i searched it and found lessons with different levels. there might be some places in your area too. maybe at a school or something. there are books too, but those cost money. im sure there are some in good shape at a half-price book store too.
