  1. For stimulus rebate

Go to www.irs.gov. Click Where is my Refund? Then click Status of my Stimulus Rebate.

For information on stimulus tax rebate read: http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/04/list...

  2. #? A lot of people have thought they were getting direct deposit but for whatever reason aren't, so are assuming they'll get it earlier than they really are.  For example, if you had a tax prep place do your return and had your fees taken out of your refund, you aren’t eligible for direct deposit.

Check your bank statement from when the original refund came - if it says "US Treasury" you should be OK for direct deposit as long as that account is still open, and you didn’t split your refund into multiple accounts. Otherwise, you’ll get a paper check

Since the first round of direct deposits is done, it sounds likely that you'll be getting a paper check.  See the schedule at http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180...

The other possibility is that you filed too late for your return to be processed by the 4/15 cutoff to make the first round of stimulus payments

  3. www.irs.com

You can find it there simply--was on the first page--also they give you a phone number

  4. Have you checked the IRS website "wheres my refund"?

(www.irs.gov) if no information is listed there then call IRS Refund Inquiry at 1-800-829-1954.

  5. Lots of things you don't state; When did you file?  Was it a regular tax return or one for the stimulus only.  Did you mail the return in or file electronicly.

The easiest place to get info on your return is irs.gov Where's my refund or Where's my stimulus.  If you can't get info there try 800-829-1040, make sure pick the option for a tax law question, when the call screener comes on line tell her what you want.  If you get frustrated with your wait time you could go to your closest irs office, you can find it by clicking on contact irs in the irs homepage.

Your mom could have told you this if you asked her.  Hope this helps.
