Put your Charvel electric guitar up for sale on Ebay or Craigslist, or by putting an ad in your local newspaper's classfieds section, and then use the money you get from selling it to buy an acoustic. You'll get a better price for your Charvel that way.

Some stores, if they do business in vintage or secondhand instruments, might buy your guitar from you, but they won't pay you anything near what its worth on the open market because they want to make a profit on it over and above what they pay you. Or they may be willing to sell it for you on consignment (where you get to decide how much you want it to sell for) but then they'll take a hefty percentage of the selling price as their commission.  Either way you won't make as much money on it as you would if you sold it privately.
