Where can i walk in the woods in ostia lido,italy?

we are visiting rome in june, and staying at the castelfusano country club camping village.we are keen walkers,and enjoy wildlife and the countryside,and would be gratefull for any info on walking paths arround there.

The Castelfusano Country Club is in the middle of the Castelfusano  Pineta, a lovely Pine Wood, with a cycle track and a lots of lanes.  I would NOT take a walk through the woods on my own, vagrants and gyspsies live nearby, on the outskirts of Ostia and they might pester you. A safe "walking" site would be Ostia Antica, the ancient archeological site nearby, it's all fenced in and quite large. During the day you can also take a safe, healthy and long walk along the sea shore, lots of people do. The alternative is taking a bus to other safe walking sites, like Tivoli, Villa Adriana, or  further afield..
