Where can i work at 16 years old with no refrences or experience?

Question

in CANADA btw,

i have experience with working except babysitting and i have no refrence cause my ex-employee moved..WHERE CAN I GO?

i was thinking of baskin robin

anywhere beside mcdonalds or any other fast food restarant store is fine with me

ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Fast food is almost always a sure thing...  There also are jobs like selling newspaper subscriptions...or as a receptionist for a small office like a very small dentist office... That was one of my first jobs, a receptionist at a Dentists office, and also working at a gas station - did that when I was 17....  The movie theatre one is a good idea, I did that when I was 16...  worked at a local small community theatre.  It was fun, but the boss was a ....well, you know, not very nice...  GLuck to you!!!

you can probably land a job at a local clothing store in the mall..

Try Subway, Jack in The Box, Carl's Jr. or other fast food restos because they're high in demand for employees right now and also supermarket like Target, Sears, K-mart and never ever try walmart....coz they suck anyway...you can always put down your ex-employee's info...it's just a formality...Some of the employers won't even bother to call them....they just don't like it if you have a lot of empty boxes...so just try to fill them up as much as you can...and you can always put anyone else that you know as your references but your family..k?

You can always work fast food...but if you are looking for something different how about one of these:

a daycare center

the movie theatre

a bakery

the mall

a grocery store
