  10. Well, for a start it depends what country you're in as different countries have different laws.

If you live in Europe/US I would suggest going to a local business as they will probably pay you more than McDonalds, and treat you better. Either go through the phone book of places you want to work, call them up and asking if they have any jobs going, or walk around your town centre and just pop in and ask businesses.

I did that when I was fiften and got myself a job as a kitchen hand in a pub.

  11. Mowing lawns. some odd jobs.  If you have a bicycle or a driver license the paper route. Please don't even think of working on the streets. There are other things you can do, just don't give in finding them. I worked at a library when I was seventeen.

  12. Food chain such as burger king, Star Bucks, Jack in the Box, etc.

or you can try this website.

    http://www.Craigslist.Org

  16. Why not try the stores in the Mall? :]

  17. Department stores, vets, animal stores, grocery stores, etc. The list is unlimited. Just look around for young faces working when you are out.

  18. Dunkin Donuts

    Clothing Stores-Limited Too,American Eagle, Hollister,Abercrombie,Kohls, Old Navy

Almost anywhere without expensive equipment like gyms or any medical help

  19. deparment store

UMMMM YOURE KINDA LIMITED SINCE YOURE 16,,

I SUGGEST JUST GO TO SCHOOL N ENJOY YOURE LAST 2 YEARS B4 UR FORCED TO WORK 4 A LIVING LOL

  21. Working when you are sixteen is probably the most frustrating experience ever. When I was sixteen I went to the local mall and went into every store and asked for the application, but of course the cut off of 18-21 always happened.

Depends on which state you live in, also changes the 16yr mark.

Most Stores that allow 16 year olds to work in are the franchises, and fast-food places.

Yes, that's gross but that's what happens.

    Retail

    - Hollister

They accept 16-year olds, thing is you have to wear their clothes.

    Fast-Food

I think you know this one. But think of other options such as.

    - Dunkin' Donuts

    - Starbucks

    - In and Out

Even working as busboy in a restaurant.

    Franchises

    - Wall-Mart

    - Target

    - Marshalls

    - AC Moore

    - Your local movie theatre

There are some options for you, and Im sure they are more out there. Being sixteen is tough for a job, but sometimes you do have to settle for the icky jobs. Good Luck with Job Hunting!

p.s. I worked for Dunkin' and it was tons of fun!

  22. lots of places

    check out the mall

starbucks (closing 2000 stores so might not work out)

    icecream places, like baskin robbins

    good luck

  23. Blockbuster.

  24. You can work at the mall in fashion stores like Hollister.

You can be a hostess in a restaurant

You can pretty much do any job that does require you working full time or having a degree.

I hope you get your dream teen job

  25. you can work almost any place that an adult would work. Grocery Stores, movie theaters, restaurants (not just fast food, places like Applebees as well), etc.

  26. pretty much McDonalds. theres nothing wrong with working there i worked there when i was 16 and made enough money to buy a brand new car.

  27. Do u like talking n explaining things?

If u do, then maybe u should apply to be a sales promotion girl.

Like be a booth keeper for a product in a bazaar or make up stand? Cigarette stand?

  28. Pretty much any retail store. JC Penney's, Kohls, Dillards, Macy's, Dots, etc..or any fast food joint.

  29. Any retail job.. CVS, J.C. Penney's, Wet Seal, Pretzel Time, Spencers.. Any place in the mall. Really there is TONS of jobs a 16 yr. old can work. Just troll around the mall and check out places like Clairs or whatever is hiring. They like younger adults to fill in the evening shifts.

Hope you have some luck .

  30. Ask the neighbors, maybe they will let you babysit.

  31. Some of my best experiences were working fast food, so don't throw away the McDonalds option yet.

You can also work in YMCAs (Day Care), Babysit (freelance), Grocery stores, Target, Walmart, Zoos, and many other places.

My kids and their friends had no trouble finding work at 16.    And none of them worked at McDonalds (one did work at Dairy Queen.)
