Where can my friend and I find last minute work abroad?

My friend and I are students who would like to work abroad this summer. Seems like we've left it a bit late though... anyone found a job this late in the season before? If so, how can we get one? We can both speak English, Spanish and a little French.

hotels normally always need extra workers, especially around summer time.

and any function facilities nearby (some hotels have them) will need extra workers around this time of year as there are the most weddings and they always need extra waiters.
