  1. I would like to know also, my city only takes 1's and 2's & they don't take glass. I wonder if city officials could tell you? and as far as glass goes , it seems if they could recycle it & create jobs it would be a good .  Evie

  2. Your recycling bin at home recycles plastics 1-7 so there should't be any problem unless you have plastics of higher number you can find the number of your closest recycling department and they'll tell you what to do.

  3. When answering, it depends where you live, different recycling rules apply for different areas.  Most take #1 and #2.  If you state your location, then maybe a person who lives in that area can offer a realistic choice.

  4. I thought 1's and 2's were code for body functions. What are you talking about.

  5. check out this web site

  6. in our place, most of the people go to junk shops and get paid for every piece. that is just on our place here but maybe yours might not have that.

    Good Luck!

  7. FYI -  1 & 2 & 5 refers to the numbers that appear in the recycle triangle on the bottom of plastic containers, bottles, etc.

Two-liter beverage bottles, mouthwash bottles, boil-in-bag pouches.

2 - HDPE  High Density Polyethylene

Milk jugs, trash bags, detergent bottles.
