  1. Check out this website:

    www.1800volunteer.org

Enter your zip code or city/state and it will bring up a list of volunteer jobs in your area. Another possiblity is to check with federal jobs, like Forest Service, or the parks system in your area and see if they need any volunteers/assistants.

I commend you on your willingness and desire to work. It shows remarkable maturity! I hope you find something you love.  ;)

  2. YMCA or the park and re ck center.

  3. Just go into your local library, sign up.  I know that the Wilmington Branch of the LA Public Library system on Avalon has a sign in sheet, and they would find a task for you.  Ask for Mrs. Larson.

  4. you can check out www.firstgov.gov.  or, you can google volunteers of america, and they will refer you to volunteer opportunities.  I think the best thing you could do though is, go to elderly neighbors, and ask them if you can help them clean around their property, do things that they can't do anymore, and tell them you will do it for free, and I guarantee they will pay you, and feed you too. (and love you, and the whole neighborhood would talk about you, and say what a wonderful person you are)

  5. You can go to

    www.SnagAJob.com

for teens in CA. for local and part time, apprenticeships, etc...

    I wish you success!
