  1. As the name says: in the middle of the Atlantic, but...

► In Iceland you can find and see the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (without a submarine).

  2. basically at the gulf stream, Its what most fishermen call the canyons. It is the continental shelf . depending on where you are on the coast usually about 1-3 hundred miles from shore, & at 2-3 hundred feet deep at the beginning of a steep, canyon like dropoff.

  3. like in the middle of the Atlantic

  4. Umm sort of answered it yourself there ... Middle of the atlantic. Stretches from Iceland in the north atlantic all the way down to the south atlantic.

  5. In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

  6. under the atlantic ocean

  7. Mid-ocean ridge that runs along the centre of the Atlantic Ocean, parallel to its edges, for some 14,000 km/8,800 mi – almost from the Arctic to the Antarctic. Like other ocean ridges, the Mid-Atlantic Ridge is essentially a linear, segmented volcano.

The Mid-Atlantic Ridge runs down the centre of the ocean because the ocean crust has continually grown outwards from the ridge at a steady rate during the past 200 million years. Iceland straddles the ridge and was formed by volcanic outpourings.

  8. Oh I know this one!  Let me guess ... in the middle of the Atlantic?
