Where can u cash personal cheques apart from the bank?

Some Amusement Arcades do it and there is a chin called Cash converters who do it, but, be warned you'll lose about a third of the value of the cheque in commission...you could ask a pub landlord or ask the person who gave it to you to amend it to pay "cash".
