Where can u take old stained, ripped, clothes to be recycled??

My mom needs to know where to take old clothes nobody would wear (used underwear, ripped sheets, and other unwearable clothes) to be recycled. Cuz we dont want to put the in a land fill if they could be recycled!!! **PLEASE HELP**

There are many people that can use your old sheets, clothes and unwanted underwear. Here are some good solutions.

1. Give to a friend or relative.

2. Give to a charitable thrift store.

3. Give to a church.

4. Give to a homeless shelter.

I hope this helps, but whatever you do. Please do not throw them away even if they are not in the best of shape!! There are already too many nice or still wearable clothes rotting in landfills. :)

If you cannot find anyone to take them then drop me an email and I may be able to help. We are always looking for used clothes or sneakers for our family. If they fit us, there is nothing we will not take. We have no problem wearing second hand clothes from underwear to outerwear! :) If they do not fit us, then maybe we can find somebody who will take them. Drop me a line if I can help as I would hate to see it all go to waste.  I hope this helps.

Honestly, I would put them in a donation box, like the kind that you see in grocery store parking lots.

If you place them in a clothing donation box (goodwill, salvation army,etc.), they will be used for industrial fibers/rags.
