most hotels have cable or satalite tv. when checking out a room ask to see what stations have english speaking movies... all places in viet nam are diffrent.. ive been in some real remote towns and got live american baseball and football... others no.. it depends on the hotel . also some of the bars in ha noi have wide screen tv.. but the eurose, aussies and viet namese preffer watching soccer[football]..anyway you probably wont be spending much time in your room... if you know where to go theres always something happenig in ha noi. feel free to track me down and pick my brain.. just get on one of my open questions and ask..... i dont even know of a cinama in ha noi [ although they may have one .. most movie theaters in viet nam have western films with sub titles... oh yeah , you can often rent dvds and a player.
