How much do I have to pay for a meal in average there?

I have heard english food is not very delicious. and it is very expensive in london. what do you recommend?

  1. Wagamama - don't know if there's one in Kensington, but there are several in central London. You can probably get a bowl of ramen for about £7. Pubs can be good, e.g. the Slug and Lettuce pubs have a good menu and it's not too expensive.


  2. I herd that Therese cheap fast food restraints like McDonald's and Tocobell all over the world,try going to a place like that.

  3. In Kensington there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.  The ones in the Good Food Guide are:

    Zaika - up market Indian

    Timo - good Italian

    Belvedere - for summer dining in the Park

    but I would suggest Kensington Place, which should disprove your views on British cooking.  London is certainly an expensive city, but there are gargains to be had, especially with ethnic cuisines.   See my web site below for details and review, plus other ideas.
